Technical issues shouldn’t get in the way of you enjoying your hobbies.  That said, please keep in mind that we are a small shop and while we do our best to test every device and code release, bugs do happen.  Please check the following resources if you run into any issues but you can always reach out to us directly at support@hobbyforge.tech if you have any questions.

FAQs

While any battery over 5V can power the Boom Box, we recommend Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) batteries.  These can have multiple cells but due to space restrictions, we recommend 2S or 3S variants.  The Boom Box has a built in voltage regulator so we support both 7.4V and 11.1V.

Yes, we will publish the latest version of the code to this site.  You can use the Arduino Builder (link) and the software above to update your device.

The most likely cause is that the battery isn’t supplying enough voltage.  Be careful not to run your batteries too low as Lithium-Polymer batteries can be permanently damaged if the voltage drops significantly.  Try using a different battery and make sure that the key switch is turned to the ‘On’ position.
